Inez Salazar Hunter works under the artist alias Mujer Muralista, it is her personal mission to create art with community on each continent.

For Mujer Muralista, mural art is her resilience and a collective storytelling tool for the communities that she serves.  Raised in Oakland California, from a rich multi-ethnic background of Native American Mapuche, Chilean and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, Mujer utilized her art to help her navigate her complex intersectional identities.

Passionate about empowering people, she created the Do You See Me Movement: a global interactive project that reclaims the narrative of the disenfranchised through mural activism. Currently Mujer facilitates art and activism workshops to all ages with the ambition to teach worldwide.
